Dr. Zhenhua Lai joined Byton as a Lead Imaging Engineer in 2018, leading Byton’s air gesture control project. Prior to Byton, Dr. Lai worked at Motorola as an Imaging Optics Systems Engineer, where he worked on Motorola’s cellphone cameras and led Motorola’s time-of-flight project (a technology that measures depth information in the scene). Dr. Lai has published 13 scientific papers and multiple patents.
