Te-ping Kang is a design engineer at DENSO International America Inc. His work focuses on driving simulator and human factors related to driver workload, safety, and interface usability. Te-ping received his Bachelor degree in Transportation and Communication, as well as Computer Science at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, (2006) and Master degree in Urban Planning at University of Michigan (2011). Later he started his human factor journey as a research specialist associate at University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (2011-2016) who led data analysis, software design and driving simulation studies in Driver Interface group. As Te-ping joined DENSO Elevate Lab in 2016, he continued his work in human factors as a front-runner of concept and product development and as a researcher.
