Ksenia Kozak is a Technical Expert in Research and Advanced Engineering at Ford Motor Company. Dr. Kozak established the Human Occupant Package Simulator Lab at Ford. She uses motion capture along with digital human modeling and simulation to study how drivers and passengers interact with a vehicle. Her projects have included ingress/egress discomfort studies, the effects of aging on driving ability and vehicle design, and a drowsy driver study conducted in the VIRTTEX driving simulator. Dr. Kozak is currently studying the use of vehicle interior features to improve the physical and emotional wellbeing of drivers and passengers. Dr. Kozak received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
